So how is it that the guy with the big meathooks always ends up with the smallest pens that he can't write with? Argh...

Got this one about a month ago, re-sac'd and ready to go, but I just can't write with it. Too small.

It's a Sheaffer Balance 350 (AKA Craftsman), and based on the research I've done, I think it's a '38/'39. It has the correct Sheaffer #3 nib, 14k, in an XF. While it's not pristine, it writes quite nicely, I think! There are two miniscule cracks, one on the cap lip, one on the barrel, and both are quite stable. Some brassing, but not horrendous. It'd make a nice user-grade.
