Hello from Georgia. I've been reading the forum about a week, now I'll introduce myself. I have been using fountain pens for about ten years and have a small collection of new pens. I started using a fountain pen after I bought my wife a pen for her birthday, then I liked it so much I had to have one for myself. I like that they are not disposable and use many colors of ink not available with rollerballs and ballpoints. I had a few reasons for joining the forum, and I've already found more to interest me than I thought possible.
First, I found the fourm through a Google search after I dropped my Levenger/Shaeffer yellow sea pen and bent the nib. I'll post more about that on the repair board.
I like Penman Sapphire ink, and wondered why I coudn't find it anymore. After reading here, I know why, and I have ordered some other inks I can try in its place.
Finally, I changed careers last year and I'm now a full time law student. I had a great note taking system worked out on my computer, but now I have a professor that doesn't allow computers in the classroom. I started a new system, which I like better, using fountain pens and notebooks. The "kids" in my class seem to like fountain pens, and are especially interested in the Vanishing Point.

Welcome to the FPN!
If you search for Atlanta using the search function, you'll find useful information about collecting in Georgia.

Hello from a fellow Georgian. Are you doing your law study at Emory perchance?

Hi, that's Daisy the Whippet, one of four dogs here. She's a good old girl.
I am at GSU, a much better cost/benefit ratio for me than Emory. But, do I have a graduate chemistry degree from Emory and live near the campus.

GSU is a good school. Almost all my in-laws went there, the most recent being my brother-in-law who got his MBA in August. Good luck with all your classes.

Welcome to FPN from Kentucky.
I have been to Georgia many times and have always enjoyed being there. My Mom would complain however when she had to TRY to get the red dirt out of my clothes. That however was many years ago.
