Hi all, I recently found this website while searching for some pens I was interested in buying. very cool site, I really like the pics sections. Some of those pics of that guy with those draws of pens is well SICK.... unbelievable. I love it.

I'd like to go to pen shows and see some older stuff out there. I started using a mont blanc in college about 10 years ago, after a good buddy was like hey man you want to see a hundred pen... after that I was hooked. found out I love to use fountain pens.

I use my pens everyday. I rotate them in and out. I love the Proust, Montegrappa Symphony, the two MB Doue pens write great, the Czar Nikolai's are great (one is ballpoint). Just tuned up the bordeux meisterstuck and it now works again, it got a little dry... There is a Ferrari de Veresce roller ball, made of horn, looks nice, but already broke once and the filler was junk, I replaced it with a MB. The pelikan was a pen from Deutsche Bank that I got over in Germany.

What do you all think? Looking to get some ideas on other pens in my general price range. I just bought two Montegrappa Harmony pens, blue/gree and a brown. They look sick...

Cheers, Marc

Nice collection meestahbig.

How do you rate the Proust against the Dickens? I have 2 dickens, and both nibs perform differently - so I guess it is luck of the draw. blink.gif

What are you looking for next?

Hi, yeah I like the Dickens pen a lot but I ususally have to wear it in between the buttons tucked into my shirts, it doesn't fit into my pocket becuase it is too tall. It is also very big and I think sometimes too much for some meetings. It does write nice though, I think the NIB is medium. My Proust NIB is a fine, that was replaced in the MB NIB exchange program when I got it.

As I said, I just ordered two Montegrappa Harmony pens. I can't wait to get those. I like a lot of the Montegrappa pens a lot.

I'm not sure what is after that. I would like a Pelikan Gaudi Pen and I recently saw a snake skin pen that looked super cool... also as I said, I 'd like to see some older used pens...

Cheers,
Marc
