Hi,
I'm a new user from Napoli (Italy). Today I bought the pen in the attached photo (I spent 20E.), as I can understand it is a Montegrappa (there is such name engraved on the Barrel and on the clips) and the nib is marked as Warranted Wing-Glow U.S.A. 4. The pen is with a piston filler mechanism.
How old this pen can be?

P.S. Together with this pen there was another marked Corona (with a button filler mechanism), which was in worst (but not bad) condition. Do you think that it could be worth to come back to the store and take it?

Nice Pen.
Montegrappa is one of the oldest Italian pen companies.
They made and still make quality pens.
Great buy for 20E
I would guess Your pen was made in the late 1940's early 1950's
The nib is probably a replacement. It would of had a Montegrappa nib. Maybe a steel nib.

After cleaning I tried the pen. It works very well, the nib gives a very smooth and fine line.
