#1. Circa 1946 Mabie Todd & Co. “Blackbird” in green pearl and black. This is a pen that I had a hard time deciding whether or not to put up for sale. Aside from a small spot of missing plating on the nickel clip. The pen is in very nice condition and has a wonderful flexible Medium 14Ct. Nib. The model number is 5241. The section, as well as the barrel, is imprinted “Blackbird”. The barrel imprint is very deep. One thing I should point out, the picture of the pen capped is a little deceptive, but not intentionally. The picture is oversized and makes the pen look much larger and fatter than it actually is. It is a full length pen, but is somewhat more slender. The picture of the pen “open” should give you a better idea of the size and proportions of the pen. The condition of the pen is Very Good plus.

Price $110.00 post paid

~SOLD~ #2. 1920’s Parker Duofold Sr. flattop in jade green. This is a nice user grade pen. It has some discoloration to the barrel and had some ink staining to the center of the inside of the cap. The milling on the black cap end is pretty worn, but the blind cap is pretty nice. There is no brassing on the gold filled trim. The nib is a Fine 14K, marked “Parker Duofold Pen”. The condition is Very Good

~SOLD~ $175.00 post paid

#3. Dark Blue Sheaffer with Broad nib. I’m not sure when this pen was made, and I’m not sure what model it is. The cap looks like an Imperial, it has the square end and four facets, but the barrel is completely round. The only thing I found that I would consider to be a flaw is a chip in the plating, about the size of a pin head, on the cap band. The plating is either chrome or rhodium. The inlaid nib is smooth and very broad! It’s almost a double broad, and may be by some standards. It measures about .043”. It is a cartridge/converter fill, and comes with the original converter in it. If you like fat nibs this pen may be for you. The pen is in Very Good + condition.

Price reduced to $75.00 post paid in the U.S. and Canada.

#4. Circa 1928 Sheaffer’s “Long” model 3-25-C flattop in black. The
long flattop 3-25’s are somewhat more unusual than the shorter
version. They are as long as an oversize Sheaffer’s flattop, measuring
5 5/16 inches in length. Other than some brassing starting on the ball
of the clip there is no damage to report. The nib is a Fine 14K
3-25. It is a lever fill. If you prefer slender vintage pens, like I
do, you might consider this one. It lays down a nice dark, wet line.
The condition is Very Good.

~SOLD~ #5. 1946 Parker 51 in India Black, with “stacked coin” Lustraloy cap. The clip is a silver colored Blue Diamond. The clip appears to be in decent condition with a bit of normal wear to a couple of the top feather veins on each side. The cap has no dents and I refinished the surface of it. The nib is a Fine 14K and a smooth writer. I didn‘t like the first set of pictures I took of this pen, so I re-shot them, and they came out a lot better. The first ones were too light and the detail of the cap was washed out. Condition Very Good.

#6. Circa 1928 Conklin Endura ring top set in black and bronze. The only real flaws I found on this set was some brassing starting on the bottom edge of the cap band on the pen, and some on the edges of the lever. There are also a couple dings on edge of the crown, close together. The imprint is all legible. The pen has the original yellow crayon, and I replaced the crayon in the pencil. I saw no brassing or any damage on the pencil, and it works well. The pics are a little on the dark side, but I took them before I remembered to adjust the exposure. The nib is a flexible medium, and is a little odd in that it writes like a stub nib. The condition is Very Good.

Prices are post paid in the U.S. and Canada, and will be
shipped with delivery confirmation and insurance. I also ship
internationally, if you pay the price difference between U.S.
shipping and international. It’s not a large difference in most cases.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item, don't assume the item has
been sold, they don't always sell immediately. I'll give you 3 days
to decide if you like the pen or not. I accept PayPal, check or money
order. All pens will be shipped U.S. Priority Mail with insurance and
delivery confirmation. I ship worldwide, so international customers
are always welcome.

All pens have been restored inside and outside, nibs adjusted and
smoothened, when necessary, clips tightened, etc. I give a lot of
attention to minute details on a pen, that some would not notice.
It's just my own obsessive behavior, which is good for you, the buyer.
The pencils have been restored outside, and are in good working
condition unless stated otherwise. The pens are ink tested, so I know,
and you can be assured, that they are actually functioning properly. If
you would like, you can view my grading system on this page:
