For what it's worth, I noticed that my local Borders Bookstore has journals by Penman Paper, Moleskine products and even some Clairefontaine spiral notebooks - although I didn't know it at the time, but I just came across a description of them elswhere on the net and

Now if they would just carry some decent pens!
