What year did the switch occur.

The best information I have on it indicates: That the Mottled Hard Rubber Pens did not start until the first run of Signature Pens in 1924-5 and stopped being produced by the end of 1926 and the Rosewood did not start until last phase of signature pens beginning in 1927-8. The Rosewood carried forward of course through the Gold Seal Pens of 1928-30.
