My Lamy 2000 is about a year old. When new it posted fine. Now it seems no matter how much pressure I use to post cap it remains lose. Anyone have a fix.

I'm sorry to hear of this, Rob. I bought the same pen a few months ago. Mine posts loosely. Last week, in fact, I was in a meeting and posted the cap since I had no desktop nearby to rest on, and the cap fell on the tile floor twice while writing. People ribbed me about my $3000 pen that wouldn't hold a cap.
I am not aware of any fix. Myself, I very rarely write while posted. This is, IMHO, probably the weakest area for the Lamy 2000.
Strange... mine posts snugly. I wonder if there were some manufacturing variations in barrel width?

I am in the same boat as Rob. My 2000 posted properly for a short while, but now won't post at all. Is there a fix for this? The 2000 is not long enough for me to use comfortably without posting.
Best regards, greg

My 2000 is still posting fine, but for any problem with Lamy, just send it back!
Lamy have great customer service.
