I bought this Pelikan 100N from David Nishimura this past spring, and I have filled it only twice. The nib is a smooth, flexible fine. It is truly one of the best writers I have ever used. David restored it prior to the sale, so it is of course mechanically sound. Based on my email correspondence with Rick Propas, I believe it to be a pre-war example. No cracks in the ink window, and no major flaws.
There is a bit of typical tapering to the barrel profile, which you can see in the pics. The are a few marks towards the filling knob that are difficult to capture in a photo - these were not even mentioned by David before I bought the pen, because they are not significant. This is a clean example of an uncommon pen.
Much more so than the two M800s I sold this past week, I am reluctant to sell this pen. However, I need to raise some funds, so here it goes.
I am asking $275 shipped (insured USPS Priority) and PayPal'd.
Terms of sale:
- First firm PM or Email gets the pen.
- No trades please - I need money
- PayPal only
- Buyer must have PayPal confirmed address
- US shipping included
- Worldwide shipping at cost
- I will be happy to give a full refund including my PayPal and shipping fees (but not return shipping fees) if you are dissatisfied with the pen upon receipt.
Pics to be added shortly.
