I definitely don't own enough Lamy's.

The brushed steel Studios are gorgeous, but so are the matte blue ones! I owned a palladium for a while, and I love the cool clip on these pens. Had to sell the palladium because the nib didn't work out, but I'm looking to get back into the studio scene here shortly.
Nice pics btw.

Congratulations, beautifull pictures & a really nice "design" pen!
Just recieved the Paladium I bought from Johnson.
It features a nice broad nib & I really enjoy using it.
Thanks Johnson, I do hope you don't have second thoughts now !
Best regards, Francis
Is that the 50mm f1.8 lens? I have one for my D50 and love it!
Great shots, nice depth of field.
Cheers,
SG

Thanks for all the comments, everyone, I'm glad you like the photos.
SMG, it is indeed the f1.8. It's a great lens and a heck of a lot sharper than the D70's kit lens, the 18-70mm. I'll want to buy a macro sometime, however, because I can't get any closer with the 50 to take a close-up of the nib, for example, because it won't focus nearer than about 10 inches.
Yeah, macro is very cool. My new lens is amazing. The shot below was taken with my 105mm Sigma Macro f2.8 but I do love the 50mm for portraits and some pen shots in ambient lighting.
Cheers,
SG
