In any case please let me know how was your meeting.
Will do!
One of us (probably me) will post a little report here in this thread. Watch this space.....

P.S. Almost forgot---HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Update:
(I almost forgot to update this thread  )
The meeting went very well! We had about double the number of attendees compared to the first meeting, so that was a good sign. Bill S. brought his wife, Ryan brought a friend and Bill K's coin collector friend dropped (names hidden to protect the innocent

). My pen friends Brian and Dave, who missed the first meeting, came to the 2nd meetup with lots of pens and good advice in tow. There was some light buying/trading of pens that transpired, but nothing major. I left with a couple of Wearever "Lady Fair" pens, a silver-plated Wahl "All-Metal" ringtop and a gold-plated "Safety" fountain pen. Brian and Dave, established collectors in the Vancouver area, brought some mouth-watering goodies for us to peruse. Host Bill K. showed us his lovely Cross Townsend fountain pen (a retirement gift from his swim club) and Bill S. brought along his amazing Parker 75 collection. Ryan brought some of his newest acquisitions, including a nifty Cadmium Yellow Sheaffer Imperial---very eye-catching colour! I brought half of my vintage Sheaffer collection and some newest acquisitions. The evening concluded with Tim drawing Dave's name for the door prize (a Cross Penatia fountain pen donated by yours truly) 'Thanks to Bill K. for hosting the meeting and providing the delicious appetizers! Looking forward to the next meetup sometime in March (time and place TBA).
