Full Version: Upside Down!

I've come to realize (probably belatedly) that many of my Esterbrook nibs write very well when held upside down and in fact can produce some very interesting variations. I haven't tried them all yet, but so far I've found that they write smoothly and with a good flow of ink. It adds to the already great pleasure of using these pens.

So will anyone venture a guess which nib is being used in the attached scan (hint--it's a 2xxxx)?

Has anyone else found any interesting results?

I'm going to guess that it's a broad nib of some sort? This looks like it's a little wider than a medium and all my nibs are no broader when writing upside down, than when written the "proper way."

That's right, it is a broad nib.
