hi, folks--i've had a pelikan level 5 fountain pen that wrote pretty well and had an awesome capacity for ink (as long as you could actually get ink into it--a pretty tricky thing, with its often frustratingly unique filling system). but its matte silver finish has tarnished over the years (i've had it for maybe five years now?) and i'm not quite sure how to refurbish matte silver to get all the blackish-grayish spots off, if that's at all possible. anyone else been in this predicament? wish i could post a picture, but i'm far from home, so all i have below is a pic of the pristine level 5 pen, thanks to www.goldspot.com.

Hi,
Silver polishing cloth should be able to clean your pen.
