How about everyone with Skylines lining them up and shooting a pic of them and sending it in to the Forum, for all to see. Telll us about any unusual items or features on yours.

Hi Syd!
One more pic for the evening and off to slumber.
Here's just a small sampling of some of my Skylines...a classic design in my book!

Nothing special here - not rare examples, but fun to use

Two more - again nothing unusual - but flexy nibs wink.gif

Nice Pics! Bet they are fun to use. Do folks ever notice your skylines when you use them, on with the special design of the Skyline dome sticking out of your pocket? Do you get any interesting comments from those who have never seen such before?

Syd,

First, thank you for getting this forum started. I am not a Wahl / Eversharp collector per se, but have a few and enjoy reading and seeing some of the older and more interesting examples. I look forward reading many more informative posts from you and other Wahl collectors.

I have not had any comments, but usually carry my users in a three pen carry case. I have, however enjoyed telling the story of the cap of this pen and its relation to the 20th Century Limited after I pull it out.

Since this is a Skyline topic, I will post the famous New York Central 20th Century Ltd, designed by the same man that designed the Skyline, Henry Dreyfuss. The similarity is obvious.

Morning Phil & Gang!
Thanks for bringing up the Henry Dreyfuss info in relation to the Skyline.
Henry Gostony (my ex-archrival from AZ. ) did a great article for PenWorld Magazine sometime back on this very subject. I'll have to find it, but is still packed up in boxes from our move over a year ago...anybody know the issue offhand?
Some good reading those older issues...as they say, things change for the better, err, well, maybe not in this case!
