I have decided to get the M1000 over the M800.
I believe the M800 is a better writer but since I didnt write with it I have decided to swap it plus a VP that just didnt find a place in my heart for a M1000.

Do you think its a good trade ?

i don't see how you can lose, given that the VP retails for $90-100 and the price differential between the 800 and 100 is about the same or slightly higher. plus, if you don't much care for the namiki, then you've really gained something for not a whole lot
