After seeing some of the great work on the “Custom Binde” Website, I wrote Chris Burton an email about doing a custom binde for an M805. Now, it’s been a good three weeks, and I have had no response. Does anyone know if Chris has taken a hiatus from the custom binde business? Or given it up altogether?

Also, Is there anyone else putting custom bindes on Pelikans?

I don't know if Chris has given up the binde business, but I heard that had taken a sort of "sabbatical" while he worked on renovating a new old home he had purchased.

There's a woman named Julia Tate who's recently started doing custom bindes. I have no affiliation with her whatsoever, and I've never bought anything from her. But I did see some of her work at the Columbus show and was favorably impressed.
