I just got my latest eBay purchase in the mail today.
It's a black lever filler, the same size as a TD model except fatter. Short triumph nib, white dot above gold filled clip on plastic cap, wire cap rim.
Anybody know which model this is?
Needs a sac, I'm guessing size 20, its quite large.

Sounds like a ~1946 Sovereign II.

Thanks Daniel!
I thought it was about that age. Very nice pen.
What size sac does it require -- there were only bits left inside.

Peter,
http://www.pensacs.com/ - has a catalog with Sheaffers listed.

The Pen Sac list calls for a 16, so that's what I put in (I had a spare one). Seems terribly small, and it wanted to pop back off the nipple until the shellac dried a bit.
I'll probably try an 18 or a 20 later, it's only a couple bucks.
Must have a manifold nib on it, it's rock hard and looks massive for a fine, which is the way it writes.
