• Has this ever happened to you?•

I was participating in an action for a Pelikan 1000 Souveran (Fine nib, Black barrel) item #: 190053609728, slotted to end in 6 days. After about a few hours of bids, the item AND THE STORE that was sponsoring the bid disappeared! There is no record of the auction in my watch list. The company 'ExclusivePens' is no longer listed as an eBay store.

No reply from the support group from eBay as to the cause of the occurrence.

Is this a common event amongst pen bids, or a fluke?

Inquiring minds want to know...

If you had a bid on an item and eBay yanked it or they closed the store, you should have an e-mail from eBay. But, they will not tell you why.

Yes, I did get a reply that it was canceled, but no reason what so ever, as you have stated. This is the first time that this has happened to me on eBay. Is it commonplace?

It has happened to me at least 3 times in all the years I have been on eBay.

Freaky. I was just looking at an "exclusivepens" auction yesterday, because they were selling green and gray translucent Pelikan M200s.

Now I'm glad I didn't bid anything

Actually one can feel relieved, if that happens, especially before an auction has ended the natural way or one had allready paid for an "item". I'm sure these are potential or real fraudsters being "terminated".

I had witnessed such shop disappearances a couple of times at my watchlist.

Looks like Exclusivepens is back on EBay. I notice an issue around mid Nov with a buyer on three items where the buyer and seller withdrew feedback. Possibly Exclusivepens was suspended over the issue. Looks like they are back in business. Anyone done any business with them?

I bought a Pelikan Celebry from him. Delivery was a tad slow, communications were a tad slow too. Pen did arrive though and was exactly as described.

I have him in my preferred sellers list and regularly check what he has to offer.

I also noticed his shop had completely disappeared a while ago.
