Greetings all,

When I tested this paper, I put it to the most challenging test(s) I could think of. ohmy.gif First, I wrote this in bed instead of at a desk; second, I used a paperback book as a foundation and third, the paper was tri-folded, so it kept bouncing up and down, (that helps explain why my penmanship is so atrocious). blush.gif

There was no feathering or bleed-through with any of the pens or inks using this paper; furthermore, the glitter is beautifully sealed into the paper because it does not come off on your hands nor do you feel any resistance or “bumping” as the nib glides over the paper’s surface. Even my cheap Sheaffer Student, (which has a scratchy nib by nature), felt smooth on this paper.

I would not hesitate to use or endorse this paper. It is an excellent find and has a definite use for festive/holiday occasions. Jill has discovered a great little paper here and while it does have somewhat limited use; it is overall, an excellent paper and one every fp user should have in their supply closet.

This is only my second paper review, so if I have foolishly omitted any critical testing protocols, please feel free to mention them and I will be happy to test the paper again and update this post.

PS: This is about as good as I can get the image to get, btw, the random black lines on the paper are cat hairs, don't ask me how they got under the lid???

PSII: I know in the image I said I would print the rest, but I kept going into my default script mode. wink.gif

Sean,

Thanks for testing this paper out. It would be lovely for notes in Christmas cards. I just bought an embosser for using at the top of a sheet of stationery - so I'm a little like a kid with a new toy - wanting to use it everywhere! I wonder if an embosser would work on this paper? I'm thinking it may not - the glitter that's embedded in the paper may not bend well enough to work with the embosser. Has anybody tried an embosser on this paper?

P. S. As for cat hair on your scanner - I'm sure your cat is an honorary member of FPN and wants to included in your posts. biggrin.gif
