This afternoon, I put together this photo of my Sheaffer Connaisseur Collection. Included are all the standard Connaisseurs, the Grand Connaisseurs, the Levenger Seas pens, the later Levenger pens and two Levenger Grand Connaisseur versions. On the lower left is the one pen in the photo that I don't own, the elusive Limited Edition Blue Marble Grand Connaisseur.

In the center is the only Connaisseur accessory I am aware of, the GB-07 Desk Stand, ca. 1988-89.

BTW, these are great writers, not just to look at.

Can you date that collection? Are those relatively new? Pardon my ignorance, but I've never heard of that series! Sharp lookers!

The standard Connaisseur was introduced in 1985 in Black only. Other colors joined the lineup later, but only Black survived the entire run into 1996. The Grand Connaisseur models were intoduced in 1989. The Levenger pens were available until very recently.

In my opinion, the Connaisseur is among, if not the, best cartridge converter pen made.
