How about a little discussion away from vintage to the modern incarnation of Conway Stewart.

Sorry to say I can only give you in information on pen I have, and used Q & A My answer is you why would you buy a new pen when you can Buy a mint Vintage Conway Stewart Pen when the new old stock is better value.
The not really any connection between the old Conway Stewart & and the new Conway Stewart Pen Co.

Conway Stewart Co. History Started. 1905 but did not MFG their own Pen under the name of Conway Stewart until 1909 and only till 1914. But started again in 1919/1920 with the speedy Phil. The first made lever filler these pens were well-made, beautiful, and timeless writing instruments. As good today as they were when made they will appreciate in value year after year. They are a piece of history.
Buy British made Most of the pens I sell are 50 to 70 year old and there be good for the next 20 TO 50 year of more
