I picked up a couple notebooks at a local discount store today for $2.99 each, and they seem quite fountain-pen friendly. The 8.25" x 5.25" Buffalo PolyBright notebook shows no feathering and quite minimal showthrough (the browns were worse), ditto the 11" x 9" Roaring Spring "Use Your Imagination" 3-subject college-ruled notebook. Rodmans also carried Mead Advanced notebooks -- that paper seemed smooth also, but you can't always tell and I've not been that happy with Mead products. Has anyone tried the Mead Advanced line?
