Does anyone know of particular brands of Christmas cards that are fountain pen friendly? I suspect that with Christmas cards as well as other types of stationery - price is not always an indicator of quality.

Crane's engraved Christmas cards are stunning.
High quality smile.gif and high price. sad.gif
But Judybug, there's an alternative - get out your paper, rubber stamps
and paraphenalia and make your own!

Yes, I know. Every year I plan to do this, but I should have started in July. rolleyes.gif

I don't really like Crane's card stock for FPs, either. But they do have really nice colors.

A simple ecru or white blank card with one nicely selected rubber stamp in red would look fabulous and would not take a long time. I'm thinking of going that direction this year. But I don't send a lot of cards.

I got some cute cards from Bas Bleu one year that worked well with FPs, but I don't remember the brand and they don't typically tell you the brand anyway. Most cards are coated paper which of course doesn't work at all.
