I wouldn't spend this much on a pen stand. But aside from the Pelikan pen holder, this is the only stand I've ever seen that I actually like. Usually they're just over-the-top for me. This is understated.

veering off topic - this thing says it will hold a pen up to 2" in diameter. 2" in diameter? Are there pens that big? I mean pens you can actually hold and use?

Maybe they meant circumference?

My favorite "pen stand" is the urushi pen pillow from Nakaya. I don't think I'm classy enough to own it, though. wink.gif

I think my very first post on this forum (a year ago?!) was about this very pen rest. Isn't it the best?! I was pretty disappointed when I found out they could not be ordered separately as I'd have to sell one of the children in order to get the pen wink.gif

I then settled for a wonderful wooden chopstick rest and it works like a charm smile.gif

Kelly, if by some miracle I ever save up enough to buy a Nakaya, I will let you know and I can order a second pen pillow with it.

You are in no danger of having to decide if you want one soon. wink.gif
