I wanted to share this with someone and this just might be the place to do it. I was in Prescott Arizona earlier this year in an antique store looking for (surprise!) fountain pens and I had just about given up when I looked in the last case and there was a cup with several pens in it. I asked the clerk to see the pans and there was a "51" Demi pen and pencil set and the fountain pen had a clear nib section. They were in coco and in perfect condition. The asking price for the set was 20 dollars. I thought that was too high and passed on them. Just kidding! Also there was a beautiful Parker Duofold and a Jade Sheaffer flat top. I bought them all, naturally. The Demi fountain pen had a fine nib and I filled it with Noodlers' Habanaro ink. With the clear nib section, the ink really set the pen off! I loved the way it wrote but flushed it and put the set away until I can decide what I want to do with them. Gold filled caps by the way, perfect condition.

I will post photos as soon as I get home at Thanksgiving. I am in Tennessee at present and looking for pens in the myriad of antique shops around here. I think someone got here ahead of me. So far the only finds was a chased hard rubber lever fill no-name without a nib but in such nice condition that I had to buy it and a black Parker Duofold with a nice fine nib but the cap on the end of the barrel is reluctant to want to screw off and I don't want to force it. It wasn't a great find but after a few weeks of looking, I was desperate to buy a vintage pen. It's a sickness, I tell you.
