Has anyone else ever had problems with this site? I ordered some Rhodia and Clairefontaine notebooks last Tuesday, and they're not shipping it out until next Tuesday because they're out of stock on the Rhodias. This in and of itself isn't bad, but what is ridiculous is that they not only didn't tell me about it, but they also didn't respond to my attempt to contact them through the website. I finally called them today and got the scoop.

Of course, they've not offered any sort of compensation for the delay in my order. They could learn something from PenCity, who I recently ordered a Rotring Initial and a Lamy Studio from. The Lamy Studio is on back order, so they just sent the Rotring Initial and will later ship the Lamy for free. Not only that, when I got my Rotring pen the converter was missing. I shot them an email and got a reply the next business day and they sent the converter free of charge.

The Daily Planner, you're on notice.

I just found out that if you call them and order they charge you a shipping fee. However, if you only e-mail them, then there is no shipping fee. My experience is that they are a little sloppy at the first go round. But the customer service rep, Roslyn, does a very good trying to clean up the mess!.

My one and only experience ordering from Daily Planner included a backorder too. It dragged out for a while until I finally cancelled my backorder. I've never ordered from them again... there just seem to be better places out there to buy things.
