Jim Rouse, of Bertram's Ink Well, subjected my inks to both double-blind tests in their calligraphy class and personal tests in his own pens. He is going to publish his findings in an upcoming edition of "Nibbles," but in the meantime, here is what he told me directly:
"All tests have been 100% the class loved the ink and I love it too. Please send samples for Columbus. I have had all three colors in three Aurora pens for 5 days no problems, the blind test from the calligraphy class received raved reviews.
The sun fade test shows no fade after 5 days in our window. In the waterproof test the red and blue, faired well, the green did fair. All in all, I have been very impressed."
For your reference, the red is Hawaiian Sunset™, the blue is Diplomat Blue™ and the green is New York Central Jade™
