I would like to sell my original rendering of Sustermans' Galileo portrait. As you all know, this illustration was used on the new FPN Galileo Manuscript Brown label. It is matted, framed, and ready to hang.

But how do I take a good picture of it?? sad.gif Can some one help me? lol

I'll edit this post as soon as I get some decent photos up.

Edit: I will start a new topic for the pictures.

Euhm... well, don't use the flash or, if you do, take a picture at an angle so the reflection of the flash won't show up on the picture. smile.gif

Unless you're really good at Photoshop, you probably need to take the picture out of the frame (if it's behind glass, that is.) Otherwise, the reflections will interfere.

I can't take it out of the frame-- it was professionally done. And I don't have photoshop anymore.. X_X

I would (re)post the scan of the original, and then a photo taken of the framed work w/ diffuse light in a setting / next to something which would allow one to discern the size / scale of it.

Don't worry about re-touching since the original scan shows the image to its best advantage --- that's what the lucky person who gets it will be buying, the frame is just a necessary packaging.

Thanks for the tips! As you can see in my other post, I took the full picture from an angle, and voila-- no reflections!
