Hey, it's a start right?

It's a good start. Welcome to the world of fountain pen collecting.

I've had a few Diplomats like that for several years and I still enjoy using them.

I have two of them. They are reliable, decent writers, and confortable to hold. Certainly worth what they cost.

The only thing that drags me down with it is that the medium nib is much broader a point than I'm used to, coming off stuff like Uni-Ball Vision Exact Micros. The pen I have on order should be a little finer. Might look into a fine italic nib at some point maybe.

But hey, the fact that it came back to life after sitting in a box for a couple years puts my faith in it. And if I lose this one, no big deal.
