I'll keep this review short and sweet. Sorry about lack of a photo, but I'm ashamed of my handwriting tongue.gif

All tests carried out in a Parker 51 fine-medium nib

COLOUR:

Umber dries into a mossy/emerald green thats quite pleasant to the eye. I must admit that I bought it looking for a rich green suitable for correspondance. The former it is not (dont me misled by the advertiser's punch line: 'dark green with muddly tones'), the latter it is. I must say that I've completely been converted to lighter greens, umber is that nice. With my nib ive spotted a little shading, with a broader one you'll certainly see plenty.

HANDLING:

Umber lubes up your nib nicely, and it feathers only slightly on cheap paper. It dries quickly, although it can smudge if you run your finger over recently applied in. Nothing to be concerned about.

IN CONCLUSION;

A must have for fans of green ink. I'm more than happy with my bottle wink.gif Remind me if I've forgotten anything

Earlier today, Sam and Frank (Pendemonium) told me they have the Diamine Umber on back order, and expect it to arrive in about two weeks to a month. I thought I could score a bottle at the Dallas Pen Show, but no way.
