edition pen inspired by the Art Deco movement of the 1920's and 1930's. This
highly styled elegant pen is a tribute to the period as well as to the designs
and technology that were innovated by A.T. Cross Company during that fertile
time in art history.
The Art Deco period was characterized by streamlined forms, geometric
shapes, and cool sophistication. The period celebrated the rise of commerce,
technology and speed, and combined modern decorative art with Cubism,
Constructivism, and Futurism. The Cross Deco pen continues this rich design
heritage. Its exquisite, etched pattern and stunning platinum plate has the
sparkle of hand-engraved jewelry. The fountain pen nib is crafted from solid
18-karat gold and decorated with a pattern reminiscent of refined Art Deco
designs, and then plated with rhodium. No detail has been overlooked in the
creation of this beautiful writing instrument.

SMRP for the fountain pen is $225.00, ball-point pen is $150.00, and the set
is $350.00. This special edition design is available at the stores throughout
