The pen is a Sheaffer Stylist, from the 1970s. Its clip is the short "military" clip that Sheaffer also used on Imperials and Triumph Imperials.

Thanks for your photo; I wish I had my pen to show you!
Mine didn't have this short clip, but quite a long one instead. It was polished gold to contrast with the brushed stainless cap.
I don't understand why these seem so thin on the ground, as I really loved mine until it was gone.

The Stylist has two major versions, the first, introduced in 1966, was fitted with an unusual triangular two-way nib. This version appears to have lasted until about 1968. In 1969 advertisements appear with a short conical nib as seen above. This version is advertised until 1971 and is definitely not in the 1973 catalog.
