I purchased a Parker 100 Black and chrome, and I have been impressed with its performance and the fact that the pen feels nice in the hand.
The question I have is the Clip. It seems you can move it very easily and it feels like it might break off. Do I have a defect or is this how the clip is supposed to be. I have Parker 45's and Parker 51 SE and neither of their clips are rigid and solid feeling.

I've been using a Parker 100 for some time and must say it's a beautifully balanced pen on hand.
The clip on mine is also on the loose side, when compared to some others such as MB, Sailor or a Vector. So far it's been safe in that accidents never occur when I bend down with the pen in pocket. I must admit, though, I prefer the loose, springy clip because it's something to play with when I'm *really* bored.
It appears to be part of the design, as the outer part of the clip moves together when you open the clip while something firm inside seems to hold everything to the cap.
That's just my guess. Any more 100 users out there?
