Yep, same here. I did complete some eBay business with Richie this week, though, and received the item very quickly.

I know I am going to regret asking this (because the answer will probably induce an uncontrollable urge to purchase), but what is a fermo?

Hi,
Pen arrived today. I am very happy with the service from cyberpens.co.uk.

The Fermo sounds interesting ........ but isn't just pressing the cap like on a VP the ideal solution ??

My Fermo arrived today - and wow! I wondered about the convenience of the twist rather than the click, but let me put your fears to rest: IT'S GREAT! You can do it one-headed very easily, and the movement feels ... well, how can I put it? It's like when you close the door of a Mercedes: an oiled-feeling movement with good feedback.
I'll happy deal with this vendor again.

I'm still waiting for mine - nice to know that I'll still only need the one head, though!

My dark green / fine Fermo has just arrived as well and is now filled with Diamine Umber, which is a pretty good match for the colour of the pen, as it happens!
I can confirm Ray's thoughts about the nice twist action, one handed or headed as the case may be, and it is a super pen with a well engineered feel about it.
I can certainly also confirm the recommendations for cyberpens. Given that it is a newly launched product, the delivery was pretty much as promised and the price was good too.

Andy,
Will the new design make the pen more usable to those, like me, who were bothere by both the heft and the position of the clip?

Hi Laurence,
It's very difficult to judge. Though I'm aware of it, I don't particularly mind the clip position on the VP, all that I can say is that I seem to notice the clip slightly less on the Fermo than on the VP, though bear in mind I've only had the pen for about 2 hours!
Overall, the Fermo barrel is about 1 mm smaller in diameter than the VP, but the Fermo doesn't taper so much towards the tip, so that the diameters at the point where the clip fixes are about the same. I think the clip on the Fermo stands marginally less proud than on the VP but the main difference in feel I think comes from the lesser taper.
My guess would be that, if you have problems with the VP you are likely to have problems with the Fermo, though you will have to try one to be sure. Anyway, I'm sure someone will post a fuller review before too long!
