I've gone absent from the Fountain Pen Network (and therefore absent from moderating this forum) because of some heavy demands on my time and personal energy. I was not prepared to handle those demands, and my FPN responsibilities seemed less urgent in comparison. I would have done much better by posting a notice. I'm sorry that Ann Finley had to send me an e-mail about this. I can rejoin participation later this week.
