Gorgeous early autumn day yesterday so left the motorway
early and took the scenic route to my mothers.
A village antique shop was open so we stopped.
Two 51's and two Montegrappas in the first cabinet.
The Montes were £200 each and I didn't know the models.
Instead I picked up this working 51 for £28.
Smooth as silk writer and no plate loss on the cap.
My wife claims it was the pen calling that made us
take another route.
Could it be true?
