Here is something that you don't see everyday.... or at least I don't...
This is a Parker 180 Imperial Gold Finish.... different from the Milleraise finish...
Instead of being completely lined all around the Imperial finish is similar to the 51 Signet. It has 5 lines a spacing then 5 lines again all around the pen.. I think it is a prettier finish than the Milleraise.
This particular pen is mint, never been inked. I did dip it to see how it writes and it does write a beautiful medium line on one side and an XF on the other. The convertor for this pen is an aero style and very thin. From what I have researched the convertors are extremely hard to come by. The pen also does use standard Parker cartridges.
The pen is thin, only .375" at the joint of the body and cap and 5.182" capped and 5.000 posted. Yes it is shorter posted than capped. This is definitely a pen meant for a person who likes a light weight small pen.
It will either go up for sale on the Market Place or go to the Columbus Show, I have not decided yet.
But it is definitely a pretty little pen and Parker did a very nice job on these.
Sorry for the dust and finger prints on the picture...

Although my primary interest is in other models, I do have a handful of 180s (SWMBO likes them and anything that keeps her away from 'my' pens is worth having).

I picked up an Imperial awhile ago - unused in the original box - as a companion piece for my similar 75.

Nice pattern! Many of the 180s are good writers - you should use it for awhile, if you haven't already, and see what you think of it (I prefer the 75 nibs, but that's just me)
