Hi all!

Here we go again!

I'm going to toss out the 22nd of October as our meeting date for next month.

I'm also going to leave the place open for a bit, as I'm going to see if I can get us a more quiet, private meeting room at a library somewhere.

I am completely open for suggestions.

I will also be calling Dromgoole's in Houston to find out if they're putting on a pen event for October, so pencil us in and feel free to suggest alternates at this stage.

Ok. The current plans for the October meeting of Austin Fountain Pen Society are:

Meet at Luby's for a bite to eat on Sunday, October 22nd at 1:00 pm and then share our latest acquisitions - pens, inks and papers.

Well guess what guys.....My schedule for the upcoming weekends just opened up so I am free to attend our meetings again. See you all next weekend.

The October meeting of the Austin Fountain Pen society was held at the Brodie Lane Luby's. We meet from 1:00 pm until about 2:30 pm. It was a small meeting with only Joe, Vida and Ken. Sorry, no pictures this time. After grabbing a bite to eat we broke out our pens and discussed our latest acquisitions.

Tara, Rafael...........sorry you couldn't make it.
Burton............glad to hear that you returned safely from vacation in Spain. We expect a full report with lots of pictures at the next meeting
