Can anyone tell me the name of the (green) Waterman Fountain pen all the way to the right in this picture? I have the same model in brown and have been searching for it's name.

Thanks,
Petra

Got into FPs in college. Had a Shaeffer Targa in matt black. It was only recently that I got back into it. I joined FPN only last month. A former GF gave me an Expert rollerball a long time ago. I have now added:
- A Green Hemisphere fine nib
- Blue Marble Expert II medium nib

Looking forward to Carene and probably a Charleston

About 35 -- One modern (Exception), three ink vues, 2#13 eyedropper fillers, a 52, 2 -94's, 2-#5s(black) 5- plastic 5116's (made in Canada) 2 commandos, 2 Crusaders and the rest 100 year pens ( no first years there however). I'm particularly taken with 100 year pens, and have repaired most of the ends myself.

A DG sterling silver, a 52V and a 52. Looking to acquire a Carene but split between the pink gold and copper metallic. Haven't seen either in person...

Warming more and more to this Phileas the more I use it: I can see why Newell Rubberwear are being so roundly cursed for pulling the plug on these things now.

I currently have only two Waterman pens:

1. brand new Phileas in green marble, fine nib. Currently inked with Penman Sapphire, which it seems to really like. Did try it with Diamine Quartz Black, but it wasn't terribly keen for some reason...

2. vintage 52 1/2 V ringtop in woodgrain hard rubber, with a lovely flexy fine/medium nib which is probably the nicest flex nib I currently own. Sadly the pen holds only about a single page of ink, particularly if one gets carried away with the flex. As it's not the most practical baby in the collection, it's currently out of rotation but suited Diamine WES Imperial Blue very well.

I think the reason for the limited selection is that for a very long time I was a bit blinkered about Watermans - might be because of the whole conglomeration thing and the fact that the current range always seemed to me to be either hideously expensive or really not very good. Having got the Phileas I have revised that opinion. And although I have half a dozen flexies, the Waterman vintage seems to be by far the best one, so should a suitable one come up I would quite like to augment the collection with a more practical vintage flexy Waterman. At some point I hope to lay my hands on a 'wet noodle'... probably won't be able to use it effectively, but one must try these things or else be unenlightened forever.

Only 2.

A green M Kultur, nice pen, good wet line. Very dependable.

A black F Charleston that just arrived yesterday. Wow, what a pen. I love it. Only used it today and already I think it will be my new daily writer.

I have a green Phileas, given to me by my in-laws several years ago. That was my only one until last month, when I found a #12 eyedropper filler, red hard rubber, in an antique store for $1. I didn't know what it was at the time (forgot my reading glasses), but I was pretty sure it was worth a buck. I cleaned it out and filled it up, and it's my current working pen on my desk at home.
