Hi there,
My first fountain pen arrived. It's an Omas Imagination
with a medium nib. Since the inks haven't arrived yet I
was unable to write with it.
It took only seven days to the pen be delivered here in
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from Canada. It was sent by EMS
which I highly recommend.
I'd like to excuse because of the poor quality of the pics
but this is a really difficult pen to photograph and I don't
have the right equipament to do it.

Regards,
jeen

Wow! That's like saying I got a Ferrari for my first car.
Congrats and hope to hear more about it.

Nothing like starting off with a bang! Hope you love it, and we'd love to hear all about it!
How maddening to have to wait for ink, though.

I recently purcahsed an Omas Invisblis. Very heavy pen - top heavy...couldn't use so its just sitting in the box.....sad. But make no mistake, its beautiful with a wonderful nib(I tested), so unlike a Pelikan nib. Omas has really improved these days. Even their lower range is fantastic. I might just buy the Imagination soon. Please tell us your experiences. I know that the pen is heavy!!!! Enjoy.

If I ever get a boatload of money to spend on pens, I'm hunting down a dozen Omas models. Very sweet pens indeed.
Congrats.

My Omas Imagination just arrived last week. This is not a pen you carry around. That said, it does make a good desk pen and it's an attention-getter.
Now, I just need to get my hands on a Galileo and a Pelikan Caelum and my collection would be complete!

I have been looking at that pen for awhile. You just have to post a review of that pen!!!

It's a beast! After using it for a couple of weeks I can't imagine ever taking it on the road (although it does fit my leather case), but the Imagination does make a terrific conversation piece.

That pen is very nice

I always compare it to a YOL Viceroy

I just got one of these pens myself, and although it is gorgeous and I love it, I just can't use it. I haven't even inked it yet, but having held it for a while I know it's too heavy for my small hands to comfortably hold. Not only that, but I tend to write at a very odd angle and the triangular shape of the pen cuts into my writing callus.
I'm so disappointed. If anyone wants to buy an unused Imagination (medium nib), I have the show box, the manual, and the authentication paper. I'm willing to let it go for less than I paid for it, just to get it off my hands - 1500 USD is what I'd like, but I'm willing to negotiate. I'd prefer a buyer in the Greater Toronto Area in Canada, but again, I am willing to negotiate.
Guess I'll have to go back to my sterling sivler Edson for now. <pout>

Now if you'd said B nib, I would've started selling stuff to save up...
