Full Version: Aurora Talentum a bit wet?

Hi -- I'm really loving my Aurora Talentum, which I got today.

The only thing is: the more I write with it, the more I'm seeing that it's writes a bit wet. I thought that Italian nibs were toothy and on the dry side, so I'm wondering if the nib might need to be adjusted.

I purchased a fine nib and I think an XF might suit me better...or buying a thicker ink? Currently, I'm using the Aurora cartridge included with my purchase.

Please advise?!

If you bought the pen from somewhere that you can take it back and ask for an exchange, try that first. Some inks are slower running, but if you had a pen that worked the way you like, then you wouldn't have to worry about that. If you would prefer a liitle more "tooth" to the pen, I'm sure an extra fine would give you that.
