I've recently been given a PFM-II. I'm very pleased to have it, and look forward to making it my primary pen. Alas, it has a very short write out, which leads me to believe it is in need of repair -- at least a new ink sac and gasket.
I'm a bit of a klutz and don't want to disassemble the thing myself. I fear I'll lose or damage something (far more likely, lose). Besides Richard Binder, who else restores and repairs Sheaffer snorkel pens?

Tom Mullane has done several Snorkels for me. I am more than happy with his work.

If I were not myself a restorer, my pens would go to Ron Zorn, of
Main Street Pens. Ron is skilled, experienced, and as upright and ethical a person as you will find anywhere.

Steve Baugh, here on FPN, has done several of my snorks and they were terrific when he was done with them. He isn't in the business of pen repair, more like a hobby. PM him if you like.
Dillo, also here on FPN does restorations and did a 51 Special for me. He did a fine job!
Sherrel Tyree in Kansas City has a national reputation for repairing Sheaffer pens.
Dennis Lively in Missouri produced the Fountain Pen repair videos and he made snorkel repair look easy (not that I had the guts to try it myself). I've bought some pens from him that he worked on and they were in good shape and fine writers when they got to me.
Most importantly, they are good folk and pleasant competitors of sorts. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these options.

Julio, Thanks for the kind words and I am glad you like the work I do.
But I don't have the parts for a PFM and have never done one.
I would also suggest Richard Binder, Ron Zorn, Sherrell Tyree or Dennis Lively.... all great restorers....

I'd like to thank everyone for their helpful suggestions.
But the only restorers for whom I have contact information are Ron Zorn and Richard Binder. Could you provide me contact information for the others here? I would very much appreciate it.

Hi Akanabar,
You'll find Dennis Lively's (DWL on this site) details in the Market place, and Sherrel Tyree's details are likely to be somewhere in the Sheaffer forum or in Repair Q&A. I'm sure that someone will be able to give you better info but if not this should help, Cheers, John

Seconding the reference for Ron Zorn. Disclosure: Ron and I do business with each other; he sends items to me, and I to him. But I use him because he's good, and everything else Richard said, too.

I would also ad Michael McNeil to the list.
NorthWest Penworks I think he is newer in the field than Richard Binder, Sherrel Tyree of Ron Zorn, but he has done good work for me.
I would also second the recommendations for Richard and Sherrel Tyree. I haven't sent anything to Ron yet, but I probably will need to next time I have something I can't fix.

I'd like to thank Andy for his vote of confidence but I must note that though only I do some limited restoration and repairs for myself and some few friends.
I particularly appreciate the fact that most of the people named above are active in this forum. That's pretty incredible for pros like them and I'd go with one of them.

I had Fred Krinke at the Fountain Pen Shop rebuild one for me about a year ago. I've since successfully done one myself but I'd advise most beginners against it. Fred is great if you're in Southern California.
