Hi All,
I'm an Estie-Holic (Esterbrook nut), but found an irresistable Parker today at the local antique shop and wondered if anyone would be so kind as to educate me about what this might be.
129mm long cap end to barrel end, nib reads: Parker Pen Made in USA, labeled: GEO S. PARKER - PARKER - MADE IN USA (all on the same line), three gold bands on cap (center band is slightly wider than other bands), pump filler, pump cap is not black, but marbled like pen, pen is grey/green/pearl marbled, not a flat-top, but has a single-stepped crown. I'm pretty sure it's a streamline...can anyone tell me more about this model??
Very much appreciated,
ReNew-Nib-o-holic
p.s. sorry about the poor photo quality; my camera abilities are off tonite...

Gosh, I hope I haven't offended the Parker oficianados by asking a question like this...no help on identifying my pen....
Found it on Gopens.com for sale - it's a 1932 Duofold Moderne in sea green, with stepped jewels.
thanks anyway; if any parker gurus go to our Esterbrook site, I'm sure you'll find help on your questions!
Best,

Hello ReNew-Nib-o-holic,
My guess is that Your pen looks like a senior two jewels vacumatic from the thirties.
Nice pen!!!
Receiving no answers probably means all FPN is drooling

on Your Find
Cheers

Not a Duofold and Not a Challenger.
It is a 1933 Parker "$3.75" pen, one of several markedly different models crudely lumped under the "Parker Thrift Pen" category by collector convention.
A charming pen shown only (TBOMK) in the December 1933 Parkergram, it can be found in four colors and two sizes. The smaller size can be found clip top or ring top. Thus, 12 variants of pen all told
Look at very bottom 2-3 pens in image below to see the stepped top portion of this pen- different from the top of a Duofold or a Challenger.
regards
david
