Hi Peeps,
Anyone help with this ID please!
Got this white dot "Sheaffer" on ebay.
It is 14cm long when closed with lid. Quite slim width. Matt balck finish. Brass construction barrel.

It has what seems to be a "modern" shape gold-plated medium steel nib.

Marked on the back "M"

The box is "old" style with just the white dot and not the new Slovenia logo.
What worries me is the clip is solid without the cutaway section.

1) is it genuine?
2) what is it and how old?

Look forward to hearing from you experts.

Your pen is genuine. It is a Sheaffer Fashion. It was most likely manufactured sometime between 1990 and 2000. You find new old stock Fashion pens offered fairly often on ebay.

When new the suggested retail of the pens ranged from $40-$70. Those with the lacquer finish commanded the higher price.

Most have really nice nibs and make a good daily writer as long as you are comfortable writing with a slimmer pen.

Thanks Mary!
Have now found other posts for the Fashion. I put in a cartidge that came with it and it wrote smoothly right away.
Maybe I'll post a review soonish.
