I've got an Agio on its way to me --- unfortunately, I can't find a Sheaffer Prelude Calligraphy set --- anyone know of a source for such or for italic nibs?

Apparently the Award has the same nib? What's a good source for those w/ broad nibs?

I sent my Agio nib to Vivek (his e-mail is: einv@physics.utexas.edu) and he made it into an italic.

I also have a couple of Preludes and bought an italic nib for those directly from Sheaffer's in Ft. Madison, IA.

The Prelude italic nib does fit in your Agio, right?

Where do you get the information to order directly from Sheaffer's? I've searched their web site, but can't find anywhere to order anything from them.

William, unfortunately Prelude nibs don't fit in Agio.

I had an M Agio nib that Viv reground into an 0.9 mm italic. You likely won't find anyone with a better price than Viv, but check with him on price.

As Taki has said, Prelude nibs won't fit an Agio. But if you get a Prelude and wish to order an italic nib from Ft. Madison, you can call 1-800-346-3736. I don't know the date that the plant there will be entirely closed, but as far as I know it's still open and Michelle is still there to take your order.
