I just recently bought a new camera for my wife for out 10th anniversary. I will get a fair amount of use out of it too!! It is a Leica C-LUX-1 6 megapixel point and shoot. It is no larger than a deck of cards and a bit thinner. The camera has excellent macro with a minimum focus distance of 2 inches. The glass on this camera beats anything I have ever seen in a point and shoot. So I am still trying to figure out all the bells and whistles. Until then, here are some nib pictures I did at work at lunch time under some strange lighting.

Enjoy

Are you just manually focusing on the LCD screen?

I am using the LCD screen on AF mode. There is no range view finder on this camera which accounts for the small size of the camera. I am still trying to figure out the camera. It has a huge book with about 150+ pages of instructions. This LCD screen is almost 2 times as large as my Nikon D2. It is a 2.5 inch screen.
