Hello everyone! I'm a graduate student at Cornell University, where there's plenty of waterfalls, nature, flowers... sending you summer greetings from Ithaca! (although the weather has been somewhat mad over the past few days, fluctuating between rainy cold and sunny hot -- mother nature's mood swings)

I love unique FPs and I am slowly building my collection. Currently in possession of the Waterman black serenite FP, which took me years to save up for -- but no regrets. Also collector of wooden and acrylic pens turned by several artists, the style which IMHO can equal or beat some of the famous brands. In my free time I write poetry, prose, both in english and mandarin. Recently taken to translating german poem from Rilke.

Anyways, I'm really glad to chance upon this wonderful site/forum and looking forward to meeting all of you!

Hi Chris, welcome. What are you majoring in? When I was up there last year to visit, Buttermilk Falls was just a trickle and as a matter of fact, so was the huge waterfall. Figures I would visit in a drought....but that was before I discovered the world of FPens and things like water were important to me...
