I'm a newbie trying to learn the ropes in the world of fountain pens. Not counting some failed experiences in grade school, my prior experience with fountain pens only consisted of an old calligraphy set I used in college (over 25 years ago). I never touched them again until I acquired my first "pocket jewelry" pen as a gift, a mountblanc. I got a few more MBs, then fell in love with my OMAS, then my Parker-100. Now I am waiting to receive a Snorkel Admiral. This is sure addicting!

Welcome to FPN. I new as well and started with four vintage pens. That number has jumped in approximately 3 months to 19 of various ages and brands.

Welcome aboard and you might want to win the lottery a few times to help your buying habbits, as your wallet will need it! I know the feeling all too well.

Am new here and to pen collecting too. It's blown me away how quickly I have become obsessed with the little devils. I can't even afford a lottery ticket anymore

Hello and welcome aboard. Snorkel on the way, huh. Yup, you're heading off the deep end now - into the bottomless pit of vintage FPs

.
See you around.
