Interesting, maybe this is why my handwriting was so bad when i was a kid.
Thanks for posting this, Carrie. I'm a governor of a local primary school and will check that our Head is aware of these LEA experts mentioned at the end of the story.

I'll have to say that I'm surprised. I thought that the Society of Scribes & Illuminators in the UK had more influence! I guess I thought that youngsters were using fountain pens in school and that legible writing was considered important there, and that the US was falling behind the UK and most of Europe.
