We have the same problems on this side of the pond, and the same difficulties addressing them

I'll have to say that I'm surprised. I thought that the Society of Scribes & Illuminators in the UK had more influence! I guess I thought that youngsters were using fountain pens in school and that legible writing was considered important there, and that the US was falling behind the UK and most of Europe.
