I send a Green Marble 200 back for a nib swap from a OM I did not like to one of the new stubs and also because I felt the blind cap one the barrel was a bit wiggly (yes that is a technical term).
It arrived back today and is perfect...
There has been some contraversy about the new Pelikan Stub.. I have posted pics of the three stubs I now have on my Pelikans, .6 & .8 Binder the M Pelikan Stub for size comparisons.
I don't have to tell anyone here that the Binder stubs are glass smooth and write beautifully with no paper grab at all. I found not problems at all writing at my normal speed with the Pelikan stub.. no paper catch or scratchiness. I did, however, find that the nib writes a bit smoother if I hold the pen at a slightly higher angle than I normally. Not much, just a bit and it was no problem for me to do it. All in all a very nice nib, but definately bigger than my .8 stub. I would say it is at least a .9 or 1.0 stub... If you like a broad nib, this is going to a nice way to go... I don't think I would call it a true broad, but not a medium broad either... I will let you judge from the picture below... but I have no complaints.
